Frisbee is our current resident receiving care directly from the Help Me Heal Fund. Frisbee, a two-year-old, Brittany Spaniel, will undergo surgery on his right knee to correct a luxating patella. This is a condition where the kneecap rotates in and out of place; it is sometimes called a “trick knee”, and makes walking very painful. His left knee will be evaluated and X-rayed while he is under anesthesia to determine if a second surgery is needed.
The cost of Frisbee’s surgery is expected to be approximately $2,500. Donations to Frisbee’s Help Me Heal Fund will give him the opportunity to live a pain-free, happy life!
