Meet the Trainer

Minimize
“My love of animals, especially dogs, is the reason I became a dog trainer. I grew up always having animals around. I somehow felt a peaceful connection with them from the start. I find their different personalities and mannerisms to be endearing and highly entertaining!” – Lea Treat, owner of Rosetta Bone Canine Coaching

She earned her certification as a Dog Trainer upon graduating from Animal Behavior College (ABC). ABC is an internationally recognized school that is approved by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education. The ABC program is one of the most comprehensive Obedience Instructor courses in the world and is designed to take up to one year to complete. The course includes an extensive text section, mandatory volunteer hours at a shelter and an apprenticeship. Lea completed the course requirements in seven months and graduated with honors. Through this program, she acquired a complete education in canine obedience training as well as an understanding of what motivates dogs to behave in certain ways. This education, and her genuine love of dogs, has given her the knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to train your best, four-legged friend using positive, stress-free and fun methods.
