Ebbie is one of our long-time guests, recently reaching the 4-year mark. He lives in his own air-conditioned, heated cottage at PAWS Atlanta and has a little courtyard in which to sun himself. We're glad we can provide him with a little more space to reduce his stress, but a shelter is not a home, no matter how special your digs are.

Everything about Ebbie is solid - his stature, his energy, and his confidence. He's a guy who attaches deeply to his human, which sometimes makes him feel like he needs to protect you from the world. Ebbie would do well with a single adopter in a low-traffic, lower-stress home. He would do best in a home where he's the only child, human, or pet.

Ebbie thrives with a routine and some structure to his days. He likes knowing what to expect. He wants to live the simple life, full of enrichment but devoid of the unpredictable. Things have been a bit chaotic for him for a lot of his life, and the regularity that comes with living in a forever home would give him the full ability to thrive.

Ebbie is loyal and endearing, and he adores his human shelter friends. He knows his basic commands and is polite and self-assured. He's an active boy and would be very happy with someone who will get out and explore with him.
