A look back at 2020

Thanks to our amazing community, we were able to accomplish some incredible things in 2020:

• - 1,041 animals vaccinated
• - 708 at-risk animals rescued
• - 912 animals sheltered
• - 710 animals found loving homes
• - 479 families received free food from our pet food bank
• - 444 people volunteered their time (even during a pandemic)
• - 401 pets spayed or neutered
• - 393 people fostered animals in need
• - 393 animals adopted from foster homes
• - $140,000 raised for our mission through successfully converting our signature events to a virtual format
• - 100 animals placed in foster homes during the shelter in place order
• - 24 pets rescued from Albany Humane when their staff was hit hard by COVID-19
