What's black and white and cute all over?

Meet Ditto

This black and white cutie came to PAWS Atlanta after being surrenderd by his previous owner. When he first arrived, it was clear he would take some time to heal, but he's come a long way. He was surrendered by his owner and had not always received the care he needed in his previous home. He had some health issues that need to be treated. He was also very skeptical of people and kept to himself. Ditto was closed off to most interactions - cat and human alike. Our team knew he would need plenty of care, both physically and emotionally, before he was ready to transition to a new forever home.

As time passed, Ditto began to improve. He recovered from his health problems and slowly began to open up. He's still unsure about humans, but he can sometimes be seen cuddling or napping with other cats. It seems as though he's comforted by having a friend around. He has come a long way over the past year and a half, and we’re so proud of our sweet, resilient boy.

Ditto is currently in a foster home and continues to come out of his shell. Being away from the shelter is giving him space to relax. He’s still a low-energy cat but does enjoy a bit of playtime here and there. Spending time with his foster mom is helping him to remember that it's ok to trust humans, and that most of us will love him to bits!
