PAWS Atlanta's Sweetheart

Ponyo Thrives in Foster

Ponyo arrived at PAWS Atlanta from a loving home - her mom had an unexpected allergic reaction to her and reluctantly had to re-home her. From the moment we met her, Ponyo wanted nothing more than to give head butts and have her ears scratched. She's so affectionate, it's clear she knows what it's like to have a wonderful home. Her previous mom checks in regularly to see if there's been any interest from potential adopters.

Ponyo gets stressed around other cats, and did best in her own little condo in the Cat Cottage. Being an only child in a foster home has been the best situation for her. She's more than ready to find her forever home! Her foster mom recently updated us, saying, "She is simply the best, and I want everyone to know! She loves belly rubs and pats, and she’s very playful and talkative. She loves laying in laps, or in the middle of the floor so that any passers by can pet her. She'll always let you know if she wants your attention by reaching for you with her paws. Ponyo is doing fantastic! We love her very much."

If you're searching for a velvety house panther, Ponyo would absolutely love to come home with you. If you're interested in adopting Ponyo, fill out an adoption application and our shelter team will be in touch.
