Little St. Nick

All it took was a little patience.

St. Nick is a super cuddly wiggle worm. He takes a bit of time to warm up to new people, but once he does, he's ready for ALL of the head scratches he deserves. When his foster family first brought him home, he hissed at them any time they went into the bathroom. But even with his grumpy attitude, he would still walk up to his foster mom and flop over for pets.

At first, he also didn’t understand much about how to jump or play, but now he’s getting the hang of it. He used to hold his toys in his mouth and drool, but now he chases the feather stick toy like a champ (as long as you shake it around at the speed of light, of course). He would do well in a home with another cat who could teach him how to play and relax.

Ultimately, St. Nick is a sweetheart. All he needed was a foster family with some patience while he adjusted. His foster mom describes him as a "cuddly snuggly little bug". His first few days at home, he was easily startled and it made him defensive, but now that his foster family knows to approach him cautiously and move more slowly, he's learning to relax.

St. Nick will be a wonderful kitty for someone with a little patience to ease him into life as a pet! He’s really coming out of his shell and is ready to find his forever home
