Loveday Weiner-Johnson's Eagle Scout Project

Troop 432

Loveday Weimer-Johnson dedicated several days of her busy schedule to make a difference at PAWS Atlanta. Her primary project was building new shelves for our donation shed. This is where we keep all donated food and supplies that are provided to our foster families and to anyone who needs assistance from our Pet Food Bank. This shed was once very chaotic but is now incredibly organized! Loveday built new, metal shelves and assembled them along the walls of the shed. She also removed all of the donations and gave the shed a good cleaning - much needed! Once the shelves were finished, she organized the items by type and expiration. This new method has made it much easier for us to find what we need when we need it!

Loveday also designed and created a new sign for our Public Vaccine Clinic. Our previous one was a few years old and drawn onto posterboard. Loveday used her artistic skills to spruce up the sign, which is now more welcoming to everyone who visits the clinic.

Lastly, Loveday collected a large amount of newspaper for PAWS Atlanta. Newspaper is one of our most-needed items, as we use pounds of it daily in our kennels. Her collection was a huge help and greatly appreciated.

Thanks for all your work, Loveday! Our animals thank you too!
