Programs and Service Changes
PAWS Atlanta will be under renovation beginning Friday, March 13 until Saturday, March 28. Our programs and services will be adjusted during this time, so please read below for updates about the upcoming changes.
FRONT DESK SERVICES
Our team will still be available to assist clients via phone and email and at the front desk. The regular entrance gate to our shelter will be open as usual and guests should visit our main shelter building upon arrival.
ADOPTIONS
Adoptions will be strictly appointment-only. Any interested adopters must submit an application and make an appointment in advance with our team. No walk-ins will be accepted.
FOSTERING
Fosters are still able to submit applications with our Foster Coordinator and make appointments to meet potential foster animals. These appointments must be made in advance.
FOOD BANK
Our Pet Food Bank will remain open and accepting walk-ins. Anyone in need of pet food can visit our front desk in our main shelter building to pick up.
ANIMAL INTAKE
We will not be taking in any new animals during construction, as space will be even more limited than usual. We encourage you to visit your county animal shelter for assistance and other resources or visit nokillnetwork.org to find shelters in your area.
SCHEDULE CHANGES
Our vaccine clinic scheduled for March 22 has been cancelled. Our PAWS University workshop scheduled for March 28 has been moved to April 4.
Our staff will still be at PAWS Atlanta each day caring for our animals, keeping their spaces clean, taking our dogs on walks, and giving all our animals plenty of love.
