At PAWS Atlanta, we love Dr. Brigit. While you won't find her on our staff list, our animals rely on her to get the care they need. Several times per month, Dr. Brigit provides veterinary care and does surgeries in our clinic. She is also a full-time vet outside of PAWS Atlanta, so she's basically a superstar. We're so grateful that she chooses to spend some of her time with us. We figured it's about time that you got to know her as well.

Why did you decide to get involved with PAWS Atlanta?

I got involved with PAWS because I left private practice and would not otherwise be able to continue to work with rescue animals. It was important to me to keep doing that.

How long have you been involved at PAWS Atlanta?

Nearly 10 years!

Tell us about adopting your pup, Corvo! How is he doing?

Corvo is our fuzzy child, except he's smarter and more mature than we are. He is the most smart, kind, and loyal dog we've ever known. He is doing wonderfully, and we wonder what we ever did without him (so does he). 

What work do you do outside of PAWS Atlanta?

I am a technical services veterinarian for a veterinary pharmaceutical company. 

Do you have a favorite animal at PAWS Atlanta right now?

They are all my favorites!

Anything else you'd like to share?

I am so lucky to be able to work at PAWS. Those folks are the most compassionate, dedicated, hardworking people I know. I'm so proud to be a member of their team.
