700 Days and Counting
Jag arrived at PAWS Atlanta from a nearby county shelter in the spring of 2020. Our team couldn't help but fall in love with her little elf ears, and we knew we had to bring her to PAWS Atlanta. Jag has been a total sweetheart from day one and continues to be a staff favorite.
Jag has been adopted and returned to the shelter twice, through no fault of her own. We want so badly for Jag to find a home. We can't believe she has been a guest at PAWS Atlanta for over 700 days. She loves people of all ages and would be the perfect family dog. She needs a specific diet and ongoing medication to manage her heartburn, which can be a barrier for some adopters. Aside from her medical needs, she's an adopter's dream.
Jag is THE perfect companion. She loves exploring and going on walks, and she does well on leash. She adores belly rubs and snuggling up on the couch. She likes car rides and hanging out on her foster mom's back porch. Jag is a dream girl. She knows her basic commands, is house trained, and is a superstar of good behavior. Jag would do best as an only pet. She has SO much love to offer, though, you really won't need anything else.
Every animal in our care deserves to be doted on, and we want each one of them to find the loving homes they deserve. We're in it for the long haul, especially for the dozens of dogs and cats who have been at our shelter for over a year. if you're interested in adopting Jag or one of her friends, learn more here.
