Kayla Cody recently joined the PAWS Atlanta team as an Animal Care Specialist, and we're so happy to have her on board. Her love for the animals and commitment to their wellbeing is clear in everything she does. She's even been deemed the expert dog massager, constantly relaxing our pups with spa-like rub downs! We want you to get to know her so you can be big Kayla fans too.

Why did you decide to join the PAWS Atlanta team?

I was looking for a career change but still wanted a way to help animals, and I found PAWS Atlanta. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming that it made me want to stay!

Where did you work before PAWS Atlanta?

I was previously a groomer at PetSmart, and I loved working with the dogs there but wanted to be even more hands on.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors and traveling. Anything adventurous, really.

Who's your favorite animal at PAWS Atlanta right now?

It’s so hard to pick just one favorite! I’d have to say a few of my top picks are Nosey, Djibouti, F-150, and Ebbie.
