1. Why did you decide to join the PAWS Atlanta team?

I decided to join the PAWS Atlanta team because I've always had such a deep love for helping animals and knew that actively working with them is where that love would lead me one day! PAWS appeared at just the right time, and I instantly felt this was the perfect job for me.

Also, my mom was a vet tech as I was growing up, so I have many quality memories of the rewarding aspects of taking care of aninimals in need. Witnessing this further grew my love for animals and what led me to become a vegetarian at the age of 6. I fully support and stand with PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).

2.       Where did you work before PAWS Atlanta?

I was a teacher at a child care and development center, helping shape and grow young minds. Working there gave me a lot of insight and was rewarding as well. However, I am extremely ecstatic to now be part of the PAWS team.

3.       What do you like to do outside of work?

I enjoy playing with my cats, reading, writing songs, and listening to music. I'm more of a homebody, but also enjoy a nice day out packed with shopping, eating, and exploring the city with friends & family. 

4.       Who's your favorite shelter pet at PAWS right now?

Right now, Reba, a tiny pup, has my heart, but I may be partial because my sister and I are currently fostering her! But, I also love every single one of our fur-babies here at PAWS and cannot wait until they all find their well-deserved forever homes. I am so proud to now be a part of the team that's making that happen!
