We have several new faces around PAWS Atlanta these days, and we're so excited to introduce them to you! We have a wonderful team, all of whom are fully committed to the wellbeing of our animals, including our newest Veterinary Assistant, Kristen. She loves working with animals and is a long-time animal lover. We're glad to welcome her to the team!

Why did you decide to join the PAWS Atlanta team?

I worked at a shelter in my previous job and really wanted to continue working in one. I love animals, and the work that shelters do is so important to me. I saw that PAWS Atlanta was hiring, did some research and really loved what I saw. I came in for an interview, and the rest is history!

Where did you work before PAWS Atlanta?

I was an admissions specialist at Atlanta Humane Society. I'm glad to be able to work even more closely with animals, caring for them directly in the clinic at PAWS Atlanta.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I spend most of my off days working on my vet tech degree! I also love reading, playing with makeup, and taking my dogs to explore nature. 

Who’s your favorite animal at PAWS right now?

That's impossible to answer...we have so many amazing animals and I love them all!
