When Pepperwood was left at our gate this summer, it broke our hearts. He was only a few months old but had already had a difficult life.

The person who left him pulled into our parking lot with Pepperwood in a carrier, swinging around in the back of a truck, unsecured. We can't imagine how scared this poor boy was! However, once we got him safely inside our clinic, he was a dream. He purred, gave us headbutts, and flopped over asking for pets. His experience wasn't going to keep him from being the friendliest guy in the world, and he warmed right up to our team. While he was doing okay behaviorally, he needed quite the physical clean-up. He was filthy, smelly, and flea-ridden, likely due to neglect.

After a few treatments and a bath, Pepperwood was ready to meet potential adopters. It's no surprise that his new family fell in love with him right away! Those huge ears, extra furry paws, and sweet face - what's not to love! Pepperwood is now safe and sound, enjoying his new life. He's thriving in his new home, where his new name is Sasuke! He even has a little brother, Miso (formerly CapriSun), who was also rescued from PAWS Atlanta! These two cuties have the best parents and are truly living their best lives. Their happily ever after is possible because of your generosity.
