Ravenclaw, now Raven, arrived at PAWS Atlanta from a county shelter South of Atlanta. She made the journey with three other dogs (one guess as to what we named them) and settled in quickly. She's been a silly, curious girl from day one. She made her Husky vibes known quickly, with her big howls and her funny way of standing on her hind legs while in her kennel to watch everything. We knew her eccentricities might require a special forever family.

Raven was adopted a couple of months after arriving at PAWS Atlanta, but was returned not long after. Her adopters weren't ready for all of the energy and sass packed into her furry body, but we were sure the right family for her was out there somewhere. She had a few adoption appointments, but nothing seemed to pan out. But Raven didn't give up hope! She kept her big ol' chin up.

And good thing she did, because now she's living her dream! Raven has six (!) human siblings and two dog siblings - plenty to keep her busy and entertained. Her new parents are experienced dog owners and know exactly what a hyper girl like Raven needs. She's loving her daily walks with dad and adores playing with her siblings. When her puppy brother is upset, she transforms into mama mode and tries to protect him from whatever is making him sad. She goes on all kinds of adventures, and she gets very excited to ride in the car, no matter the destination. Her mom recently told us, "Raven is exactly who we needed in our family." It sounds like her new family is exactly what Raven needed too.
