All Grown Up

Roscoe's Story

Roscoe (previously Floyd) arrived at PAWS Atlanta in December of 2023 after being found as a stray. He was only three months old and a bit confused but incredibly friendly. Roscoe settled in quickly and was soon joining our team for Puppy Therapy outings and adoption events. He even got to use his big ol' paws and cute little nose to make some of our hugs and kisses for Valentine's Day! Because of how sweet he was, we knew he would find a home quickly.

Just a month later, Roscoe met his match. His new mom and dad brought their other pup out to meet Roscoe and the two got along swimmingly. He was adopted on the spot! Our team wasn't surprised because we knew what a great dog Roscoe was, but we were still overjoyed to see him find a home so soon.

Roscoe's new mom sent us the following update: "Over the past few months Roscoe has almost doubled in size (up to nearly 90 pounds!) and continues to grow. Roscoe has continued to be a gentle soul with a warm, goofy personality. He has two older siblings: one canine and one human, who he loves more than anything. Roscoe enjoys visits to WagALot doggie day play, going on long walks, playing in the backyard, chasing bugs, riding in the car, catching bubbles, and relaxing on his massive dog bed. We are grateful to PAWS Atlanta for helping us find our newest family member!"

Congratulations to Roscoe on winning third place in our Rescue Brew Contest this spring! We're so glad that his new life is off to such an excellent start, and we can't wait to see what he'll get up to next.
