The Brave Little Toasty

As a tiny kitten, Toasty was left behind to fend for himself in PAWS Atlanta's donation bin, tucked away in a decorative woven box. The box was closed, so PAWS Atlanta's team members thought it contained supplies dropped off from one of our supporters and didn't notice the little guy until around 9:00 AM that morning. Luckily, the weather was nice and Toasty is a trooper.

Our Foster Program Coordinator, Ellee, instantly fell in love and repeatedly introduced this small brave soul to multiple potential fosters week after week, but no one chose him and she just could not figure out why.

Until one day she did. In steps Sarah. Sarah was looking to adopt a kitten. Her resident cat had never lived with another cat before and she wanted to make sure it would be a good match. So she decided to give fostering a shot. Her cat, Nibbler, wholeheartedly agreed Toasty was a keeper and within a week it was settled. This small but mighty fighter was staying right where he was.

Sarah recently sent us a happy update. Toasty loves his big new home, napping in unexpected places, and playing with his older brother. We would say Bon Voyage, little one! Go live your best life. But look at you. You already are.
