The Dynamic Duo

Brandon, one of our dedicated Animal Care Specialists, is always asking how he can help. He joined the PAWS Atlanta team in October and has been a huge asset to the team. He assists our adoption counselors with appointments, loves talking with potential adopters about the dogs they are visiting, and often helps customers who ring our doorbell. When supplies are delivered, he’s the first to put them away (even the super heavy supplies like cat litter). And of course, all of our animals love Brandon. He can often be found just slowing down and spending time with our shelter pets and they always appreciate the one-on-one attention he provides. 

Many of our foster parents travel over the holidays and when they do, their foster pets come back to PAWS Atlanta for a short stay. Four (little spoon on the left) was one of those foster pets, and she was really missing the comforts of a home. So, Brandon, once again asked how he could help and stepped up to foster Four temporarily, taking her home on Christmas Eve. Four made herself right at home and immediately took to Brandon's calm energy. She loved to cuddle and every day, when the time came for Brandon to come home from work, she would sit right by the door anxiously awaiting her best friend's return. 

A week later, Brandon realized that he had unknowingly found Four's perfect home. Four wasn't just a temporary foster pup, she was family. He made their friendship official and we couldn’t be happier for them.
