The gift of a second chance

Catsanova came to us from South Georgia when a shelter hit hard by a hurricane needed our help. We noticed him sneezing and he was ultimately diagnosed with Calicivirus, a contagious virus that causes upper respiratory infections in cats. Having to be separated from his friends at the shelter, Catsanova seemed lonely and we knew he could only live his best life in a home. Despite our best efforts, this cute, friendly, and young cat was overlooked for a over a year because of his diagnosis.

In steps foster hero, Justin, who gave this sweet kitty the gift of his time. Catsanova went from feeling isolated to being spoiled rotten spending all day playing, cuddling, and learning fetch. Justin gave Catsanova the time he needed to find his forever family - a kind woman named Patty who immediately fell in love with this playful guy.

Now, Patty wants to help another cat diagnosed with Calcivirus so Catsanova can have his very own feline friend. And in turn, Justin is helping more cats like Catsanova get their second chance.
