Giggles, Wiggles, and Jiggles
These three super-sized softies all arrived at PAWS Atlanta together, surrendered by their previous owner. Wiggles and Jiggles, twin Russian Blue boys, were soon known around the shelter by their impossibly large size. They aren't chunky, they're just BIG. Complete with their pronounced cheeks, they look like adorable jungle cats! Giggles, the lady of the trio, stood out with her lovely tabby pattern and was a bit smaller than her brothers, though that's not saying much. All three captured the attention of everyone who visited the Cat Cottage, if not by their size, by their sociability. They made friends with everyone who entered their room. They loved meeting new friends, cat and human alike.
Wiggles was adopted first out of the three. This admittedly made it easier for us to know which gray cat was Jiggles, but we were disappointed that the siblings weren't going home together. It's challenging enough to adopt a pair of cats together, and a triple adoption was unlikely, so we weren't surprised, but we had still hoped that all of them might share a happy-ever-after. Even so, we were excited for Wiggles and his new dad.
Jiggles was the next to go to a new home. However, a couple weeks later, he was returned to the shelter. We hated to see him back, but we knew he needed a forever family who would appreciate this big guy and his big love. When Wiggles dad found out that Jiggles had been returned, he came back to the shelter to reunite the brothers! We were so excited that, not only had Jiggles quickly found a new, wonderful home, but it would be with his best buddy.
As they say in the infomercials, "Wait! There's more!" When he arrived to meet Jiggles and finalize the adoption, he realized that the boys had a sister. Upon learning this, he jumped on the chance to keep these Three Musketeers together. It was the fairytale ending we dreamed of! Jiggles, Wiggles, and Giggles would be reunited to continue their kitty shenanigans for life! We've never been so excited to see our cats go to the same home. While they had a rough few months between homes, we know these siblings ended up exactly where they're supposed to be!
