Bumblebee was surrendered to PAWS Atlanta by his previous owner just before Thanksgiving last year. He was only about six-months-old and had the energy to show for it. He zoomed right up to everyone he met, constantly in the mood to play and go on adventures. While Bumblebee was at PAWS Atlanta, he was a regular at our Puppy Therapy sessions and was always a hit. He was a staff and volunteer favorite, and we couldn't wait for him to find a family of his own. After a break in a couple of different foster homes, Bumblebee finally found the home of his dreams in April! 

Why did you decide to adopt Bumblebee?
My husband and I are huge fans of adopting shelter dogs. We were looking for a second dog to join our family, and after seeing Bumblebee’s fun-loving energy and sweet temperament we just could not resist adopting him. 

How is Bumblebee doing now?
Bumblebee is doing really well! He's had time to settle in and get used to the family routine. He has learned a few tricks and is always excited to learn more (especially if there is a treat involved!). 

How is Bumblebee's relationship with your other pets?
We have another dog named Indigo, and Bumblebee is best friends with her. They are always hanging out, and he makes sure to stay right in step with her no matter what she's doing. You would never know that they’re not true brother and sister. 

What activities does Bumblebee enjoy?
Bumblebee enjoys doing all kinds of activities including going on walks, swimming in the lake, running laps in the backyard, playing with his dog sister Indigo, and snuggling on the couch. 

How does Bumblebee show his love?
Bumblebee likes to show his love by snuggling, giving kisses, and following us around the house. 

What do you love the most about Bumblebee?
What I love most about Bumblebee is his loyalty. He is always excited to see me, snuggles me to death, and immediately comes when he is called in from outside.
