A tribute plaque is a special way to honor a loved one or cherished pet. Your gift celebrates them while also helping animals for years to come.

Tribute plaques are the perfect way to commemorate a milestone occasion, such as a retirement, birthday, or anniversary. Every plaque is added to our tribute wall at the entrance of PAWS Atlanta, servingas a permanent reminder of family, friends, and pets who've made a significant impact.

Determine your honoree. Decide who you would like to celebrate with your plaque, whether it's a pet, spouse, parent, or friend. 

Choose your wording and design. Each plaque has a character and line limit to ensure legibility. Your plaque can include a maximum of five lines total: three lines in larger font in the center and two lines in smaller font above and/or below the center lines. Please refer to the images below to choose your design option, and write your plaque's message within the given guidelines.

Make your donation. Email our Development Coordinator, Kirsten, at klucas@pawsatlanta.org. She will assist you in finalizing your gift and make any design adjustments to your plaque.

Visit the tribute wall! We'll notify you once your plaque arrives. We encourage you to pay a visit to the shelter to see your plaque in person.

If a tribute plaque isn't the best option for you, there are other ways to honor someone and give to homeless animals at the same time. Making a donation in honor or in memory of someone through our online giving system or covering the adoption fee of an adoptable pet are also meaningful ways to celebrate someone important in your life. When you provide the email address of your honoree or their family member, we'll notify them of your generous gift.
