Introducing, PAWS University! Welcome to all things dog training. Led by our expert Trainer and Behavior Consultant, MarLee Thompson (CDBC, CBCC-KA, CPDT-KA, SDC), our monthly workshops, one-on-one training sessions, and ongoing training at the shelter help every dog be the best they can be.

Let's Walk! Registration (4/4 Workshop)
Cost: $25
Class Size: 20 people (no dogs!)
All classes will be on Saturdays from 11am-1pm.
*Classes may take place outdoors, so be prepared to dress appropriately. If any inclement weather arises, the instructor will be in touch to reschedule if necessary. This is a human-only workshop, so please leave your pups at home.

One-On-One Training
Available to PAWS Atlanta adopters, Trainer and Behavior Consultant, MarLee Thompson (CDBC, CBCC-KA, CPDT-KA, SDC) can help you and your new dog make the transition from shelter to home. More information coming soon!
About MarLee Thompson
MarLee is a multi-certified dog behavior consultant and trainer who has been training professionally since 2012. From the beginning of her career, she has worked extensively with a variety of dog breeds, focusing on the rehabilitation of fear, anxiety, reactivity, and aggression.
MarLee is a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. Through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, MarLee is both a Certified Behavior Consultant Canine - Knowledge Assessed and a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed. She is also a Cooperative Paws Service Dog Coach and has successfully completed Michael Shikashio’s Aggression in Dogs Master Course.
MarLee is dedicated to the pursuit of continuing education; she frequently attends conferences and workshops led by world-renowned trainers and behavior consultants. MarLee has a passion for helping rescued pets thrive at the shelter and in their forever homes.
In addition to behavior consulting, MarLee specializes in mobility service dog training. As an adult with Cerebral Palsy, she is equipped to make training accessible to handlers of any physical ability. Together with her husband Beau, MarLee lives with a Belgian Malinois named Viktor and a Pug named Gordon.
