Athletes for Animals, Laura J. Niles Foundation
Our supporters are amazing! We recently received grant funding from two awesome organizations—the Laura J. Niles Foundation and Athletes for Animals!
The Laura J. Niles Foundation, who has been so generous to PAWS Atlanta in the past, has awarded us a two-year grant to support our “PAWS Long-term Guest Project,” a new training program for dogs that helps with socialization, training, and stress relief so they can move beyond behaviors that might hinder their adoption into loving, forever families. This new program will focus on dogs who have been with us over one year. Trainers will work one-on-one with these special pups, providing them with extra assistance to put them on the path to adoption.
Athletes for Animals brings together professional athletes with a shared passion for rescuing and protecting the welfare of homeless pets nationwide. Their grant to PAWS Atlanta will support our animals in foster care with preventatives, vaccines, and medical care. Together, we will provide outstanding medical care to foster pets ensuring they will be in the best of health for their forever families.
We are so thankful to both the Laura J. Niles Foundation and Athletes for Animals for making a difference for the animals in our care.
