Safe and Sound

Rescued animals endure all types of circumstances before arriving in our care. Each one needs to be nurtured in order to thrive in a forever home. Our goal is for each animal at PAWS Atlanta to be safe and sound.

Sadly, this year more than ever, many pets are left at our gate to fend for themselves. So far, 146 dogs and cats have been abandoned at PAWS Atlanta in 2022. Shelters across the country are experiencing similar high numbers of abandoned and surrendered animals on record.

Thankfully, your commitment to helping homeless animals at PAWS Atlanta gives them the chance to truly thrive. Your generosity makes this possible. Because of you, 526 pets are safe and sound in their forever homes so far in 2022. You gave these animals everything they needed to thrive.

‚ÄčThis GAgives on #GivingTuesday, will you show your love for rescue pets?

With a fundraising goal of $65,000, we aim to end this particularly challenging year with all of the resources necessary to nurture every sweet face in our care. With each financial donation, you provide a second chance for an animal to receive the care and nourishment they need.

Thank you for joining us this Georgia Gives Day and being a caregiver for pets who have nowhere else to turn.  Thanks to your generosity, homeless pets can be nurtured in our care to thrive in a forever home, safe and sound.
