365 Days of Rescue

Each year, hundreds of animals find their way to PAWS Atlanta. Some are surrendered by owners who can no longer care for them, some are left behind in the parking lot, and others are rescued from overflowing nearby shelters. No matter how an animal arrives at PAWS Atlanta, we are committed to giving them the love and care they need, 365 days a year. Through disasters, illness, and holidays, our cats and dogs still need help. When you support our animals, you're here with us each day, showing them what love looks like. 

We currently have 180 animals in our care, all of whom need food, enrichment, and medical care daily. From kittens who require bottle feeding to overwhelmed dogs who need extra training, every animal depends upon YOU to survive and thrive. We are their family, but, ultimately, we don't want that to be the case. We want them to find a home, where they can truly be themselves and receive all the love they deserve.

Thankfully, your commitment to helping homeless animals gives them a second chance. Your generosity makes it possible for us to be there for our animals every season, every day. Because of you, we were able to accomplish so much this year. Polite PAWS was launched to help dogs stay in homes by giving owners the right tools. Our brand new Isolation Unit opened, providing a place for our sick and injured animals to heal. You showed your ongoing support for our animals, and, because of that, nearly 650 cats and dogs have found loving homes so far this year.

With a fundraising goal of $75,000, we aim to end 2024 with all the resources necessary to continue finding the perfect home for each animal. With every financial donation, you provide a second chance for an animal who so desperately needs one.
