I became a Guardian Angel because I wanted PAWS to be able to count on a certain donation amount each month for their financial budgeting and planning. It also works out better for me knowing a certain amount will come out of my budget each month rather than making fewer larger donations.
- Ed Wood, Volunteer and Guardian Angel
I think it's important to give each month to the animals at PAWS Atlanta because their needs never stop, and new animals are always coming in [who need help].
- Anita Kumar, Board Member and Guardian Angel
I am a Guardian Angel because every animal deserves a second chance. By giving monthly, I know my support helps PAWS Atlanta provide food, shelter, and medicine every day for the dogs and cats awaiting loving homes.
- Katie Beacham, Board Chair and Guardian Angel
It feels good to belong.
Being a Guardian Angel monthly supporter means being part of a community that cares about animals. This special group of kindhearted individuals provides the reliable support that helps us care for homeless animals in their times of need and all-year long. Together, we've saved the lives of over 48,000 animals since we opened our doors in 1966.
Here’s what your monthly gift can do:
-
$25 microchips four shelter pets so they'll never be homeless again.
-
$50 administers flea and tick prevention for three animals.
-
$75 provides food for a dog or cat with a special diet.
-
$100 spays or neuters a pet to keep them healthy and prevents overpopulation.
-
$150 - $300 covers the cost of X-rays for an injured animal each month.
-
Emergency surgeries can cost anywhere from $1,500 to $6,000.
