PAWS Atlanta will be under renovation from Friday, March 13 until Saturday, March 28. Our services and programs will be adjusted to accommodate the construction. Adoptions and fostering will be strictly appointment-only, and you must fill out an application and be approved in advance. Our food bank will remain open on a walk-in basis. For 60 years, PAWS Atlanta has stood as a beacon of compassion, a place where homeless cats and dogs have found safety, care, and ultimately, loving homes. This anniversary is both a celebration and a call to action. We express gratitude for the past six decades of impact, while inviting our community to join us in shaping the decades ahead. Every adoption story, every volunteer hour, every donation is part of a legacy that honors what has been achieved and safeguards what is yet to come. Together, we ensure that PAWS Atlanta remains a sanctuary where compassion endures, and where the future of every animal is protected. 

Choose your favorite pittie, and buy them a gold coin (or several!). Cable, Cora, Cornflake, and Flip Flop are all hoping for a little luck this March! The pup with the most coins in their pot of gold on March 21 will get a relaxing spa day with our very own canine massage therapist. 

Adoption fees for all pitties and pit mixes are reduced to $17 in celebration of St. Pittie's Day! Bring home a little luck and a lot of love this March. Introducing, PAWS University! Trainer and Behavior Consultant, MarLee Thompson, is here to provide all the resources and knowledge you need. Join us for our next workshop, Let's Walk!: Simplifying Loose Leash Walking, on April 4. You're sure to leave the class with new information and skills for a happier life for both you and your dog. 

Rescue happens 365 days a year. *Please note: The clinic initially scheduled for 3/22 is canceled.* We know you love your pets and want to keep them healthy and safe. That's why we offer Vaccine Clinics every other Sunday, from 10:00 AM until we hit capacity. No appointment is needed, though we recommend arriving by 9:00am to ensure a place in line! Clinics are held at our facility located at 5287 Covington Highway, Decatur, Georgia 30035. During your visit, you can also purchase discount preventatives for your pet - ask our team at check in!
